During the 2023 World Cup in Australia & New Zealand, several number of matches are scheduled each day during the group stage. The World Cup kicks off with the first group match New Zealand – Norway on July 20, 2023. The group stage will conclude with the Morocco – Colombia match on Aug. 3, 2023.

When are the matches within the knockout phase?

Eighth Final

In the knockout phase of the World Cup, the Nos. 1 and 2 from the various pools compete against each other. The eighth finals will begin between Aug. 5 and Aug. 8, 2023.

 

Semi-Finals

The semifinals are on Aug. 15 & 16, 2023.

 

When is the Finale?

The final will take place on Sunday, Aug. 20, 2023, at 4 p.m.

For the first time at the 2023 World Cup, there will be 32 countries playing, all of which have qualified. Previously in 2019, only 24 countries participated.
